UVM Contra and Folk Dance society hosts accessible and fun Contra dances once a month (and sometimes an extra folk dance too!) Contra is a folk dance that is danced with a partner in lines, to a caller and live music! No experience dancing is necessary and the goal is always to have a fun time.
We support new callers and bands!
Our dances are donation based, suggested 5-15 dollars, though nobody will be turned away from lack of funds.
